Griffin police are not releasing the name of a man that suffered a gunshot wound near Memorial Stadium following Friday night’s Griffin – Spalding County football game.
The shooting occurred as the man was attempting to break up a fight between his step-son and another juvenile. The juvenile pulled a gun and fired one shot, striking the man in the lower back.
The victim was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital by air ambulance, his condition is not being released.
