The chief judge of the Griffin Judicial Circuit, Christopher C. Edwards has been nominated for a vacancy on the Georgia Court of Appeals.
Chairman Michael Bowers of the Judical Nomination Commission said the board is helping the governor identify possible successors to Judge Alan Blackburn who is retiring and Judge Debra Bernes who died recently.
