UPGRADES AT MATHEWS FIELD

AT  TUESDAY’S MEETING  THE  THOMASTON-UPSON  BOARD  OF  EDUCATION  VOTED  TO  SPEND  UP  TO  $215,000  IN SPLOST  FUNDS  TO  CONSTRUCT NEW  CONCESSION  STANDS AND  RESTROOMS  ON  THE  VISITORS  SIDE  AT  MATHEWS   FIELD. THE  CURRENT  BUILDING  WILL  BE  RAZED, AND   AND   IT  WILL    BE  READY  FOR  NEXT  FOOTBALL  SEASON. WORK  COULD  BEGIN  RIGHT  AFTER FOOTBALL  SEASON.
