UPSON CO COMMISSIONERS ON BOARD WITH GRANT REQUEST FOR 6 NEW EMERGENCY SIRENS UNINCORPORATED AREAS.

AT  A  TUESDAY  WORK  SESSION  THAT  LASTED  ALMOST   2  HOURS,  THE  BOARD  VOTED  TO  FRONT  $50,000  PENDING  APPROVAL  OF  THE  GRANT.  THE  COUNTY’S  PORTION  WOULD  BE   15%  BUT  EMA  DIRECTOR  MARTHA  ANN  MCARTY  SAID  THAT  MIGHT   BE  DONATED.

AS PART  OF  THE  PLAN  TWO  SIRENS  WOULD  BE  RELOCATED.

A  DECISION  ON  TUAC  FUNDING  AND  VOLUNTEER  FIRE  DEPARTMENT  FUNDING  DELAYED.
