UPSON, PIKE, LAMAR, SPALDING, MONROE, BUTTS, BIBB, CRAWFORD,TAYLOR, HENRY, CLAYTON COUNTIES IN WINTER STORM WATCH TUESDAY NIGHT TILL THURSDAY.

THE  NATIONAL  WEATHER  SERVICE  SAYS  PARTS OF  THE  STATE  COULD  SEE  UP  TO  A  HALF-INCH  OF  ICE ACCUMULATED  DURING  THAT  TIME.  TEMPERATURES  ARE  EXPECTED TO  DROP  TO  THE  LOW  OR  MID-30’S.

THE  ATLANTA  AND  DEKALB  COUNTY  SCHOOLS  HAVE  ANNOUNCED  THEY  WILL  BE  CLOSED  TUESDAY  AND  WEDNESDAY.

GOVERNOR  NATHAN  DEAL  HAS  DECLARED   A  STATE  OF  EMERGENCY  FOR  14  NORTH  GEORGIA  COUNTIES   ALL  NORTH  OF  THE  ATLANTA  METRO  AREA.
